ANZAC Day 2008 at the Auckland Domain

Very nice weather and a beautiful sunrise for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Auckland Domain. Next year I’ll try to make it to the Devonport service. 

I didn’t get many good photos as it seemed inappropriate to let off the SLR shutters during the memorial service. However I did get a few just before and after the service…

    Sure but it will only be taken up by people if they feel it’s funny or otherwise relevant. LOL is widely used on a variety of short messaging systems.

    Isn’t the point of making a new word, because YOU think it’s cool/funny/whatever, not to make other people use it?

    Not if the goal is to spread a word to test a theory. Creating a word for what I think is inherent value is obviously a different situation, since I wouldn’t really care who else agrees with me.

    Hi Ed

    Love the pics you’ve taken of the Dawn Service at the Auckland Domain of Anzac Day.

    Is there any chance that we could have a copy of these pics on jpeg? I’m part of the organising team of these services for Anzac Day and would like to include your pics in our set up images slide show for our de-brief.

    Please let me know if this is possible.
